Here Am I. Send Me

"Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send,
and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I ;send me."--Isaiah6:8

Do you have selfless faith?

We should have the kind of faith where we don't doubt God one bit, wanting only His will to be done. In the Bible we have Abraham who ,when asked by God, was willing to give his only son as a sacrifice. WOW! Now that is selfless faith! Can you even imagine?

Now here is a key question, Are you willing to be put into positions where such faith in the Lord is required?  Okay, take a minute, reread the question....That can be a hard question to answer. Even if you aren't there yet, Jesus can help you not think of yourself and put all 100% of your faith in Him. We have to remember the Lord knows whats best even when , to us, it makes no sense. So surrender all of you to the Lord so that He can mold you and guide you.

Lord, Please help me to desire more of you each day. Help me to sacrifice more of myself so that I may have selfless faith. I want to give 100% to You. Not my will but your will be done!

Amen

Doors in Life

"I know thy works: behold, I have set before you an open door, and no
man can shut it:for thou has little strength, and had kept
my word and hast not denied my name." -Revelation 3:8

"We serve a God that opens doors that no one can shut, and shuts doors no one can open". So if we have an open door we are to stay there till the Lord moves us. Honestly, it can be hard sometimes to tell if the "door" to something is opend or closed, whether we are suppose to go right or left. But even when it seems like we are all alone and don't know where to go, we must remember the Lord will guide our steps (Prov. 16:9). As long as we follow the Lord and seek Him he will be our guide.

There will be plenty of times where doors will open and close in our life, starting new journeys. So we must stay faithful to the Lord, and get to know Him for ourself. If we want to hear from the Lord and know His will for our life we must seek Him (1Chronicles 16:11). He wants us to draw closer to Him each day, if we invite Him in He will enter (Revelations 3:20).

The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

Lord, thank-you for everything you do in my life. I know there are times I take you for granted so please forgive me. You can have my hopes and dreams , I want to follow your will for my life. Guide me Lord Jesus and help me to put all my trust in you 100% not 80, not 99 but my all in all into your hands. Help me to grow closer to you each day. I can never thank-you enough for all that is given me. Thank -you Lord!

In Jesus Name
Amen

He loves us

How He loves Us

Romans 8:28_
"And we know that all things work together for good to
them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose"

Just wanted to share this with you guys.

Here are the lyrics to the link above:

He is jealous for me,
Loves like a hurricane, I am a tree,
Bending beneath the weight of His wind and mercy.
When all of a sudden,
I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory,
And I realize just how beautiful You are,
And how great Your affections are for me.

And oh, how He loves us, oh,
Oh, how He loves us,
How He loves us all

He is jealous for me,
Loves like a hurricane, I am a tree,
Bending beneath the weight of His wind and mercy.
When all of a sudden,
I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory,
And I realise just how beautiful You are,
And how great Your affections are for me.

And oh, how He loves us, oh,
Oh, how He loves us,
How He loves us all

Yeah, He loves us,
Oh, how He loves us,
Oh, how He loves us,
Oh, how He loves.

And we are His portion and He is our prize,
Drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes,
If his grace is an ocean, we're all sinking.
And Heaven meets earth like an unforeseen kiss,
And my heart turns violently inside of my chest,
I don't have time to maintain these regrets,
When I think about the way...

That He loves us,
Oh, how He loves us,
Oh, how He loves us,
Oh, how He loves.
Yeah, He loves us,
Oh, how He loves us,
Oh, how He loves us,
Oh, how He loves.

Yeah, He loves us,
Oh, how He loves us...
Oh, how He loves us...
Oh, how He loves us.

The flock of Jesus

"Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me." John 10:25-27

Read the couple of verses associated with this picture. "But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep" I believe this says a lot just in the few words. Are you a part of the Lords flock? Do you know Jesus' voice and do you follow Him? If you are not one of Gods sheep then something in your life needs to change.  Then it says "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me." If you are apart of His flock and still can't hear the Lords voice then something needs to change. We need to fervently seek Jesus for ourselves, and read His Word. I know for me I started out reading the Word daily then it turned into weekly and the next thing I knew "I didn't have time". But that is no excuse!!  We have 1440 minutes in a day and we can't take 60 of it to spend time with the Lord?! How crazy does that sound, Jesus died for us and we can't spend a portion of our time getting to know Him. Going to church on Sundays is not enough we have to seek Him daily! Jesus is the reason why I am here, and the world is only getting crazier by the second so we should spend more and more time knowing Jesus and following the plan He has for our life. Jesus said that if we seek Him with all of our heart we will find him." And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart."-Jeremiah 29:13

Thank-you Lord for this day you have given me. I want to be a part of your flock and hear from you. Help me to grow in You and fill me up completely. Give me ears to hear, a heart to follow, and eyes to see. Guide me in everything that I do. I want to know you more and more each day, because without you I have nothing. In Jesus name, Amen.

"Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow.
For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth
for a little time, and then vanished away.-James 4:14

Now this is not a picture I took but it is a bumper sticker I bought from the store. People have laughed at this, saying: "oh thats funny" but my question is why is this so funny?
This sticker sends a very serious message, because if you die not knowing the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior you will go to HELL. Imagine being in anguish for eternity! Who would want to chose that? Going to hell just because you wanted to wait one more second, or have one more good time here on earth, which is just temporal. People go around thinking oh I have plenty of time to get saved but the truth is you can die any second. Do you really want to die "having a good time" and living in a pit of fire for ETERNITY? This is no time to be playing games. You have to make sure you know the Lord Jesus for yourself. Because you do not know when your time is coming and you don't want it to be too late.

The Bible verse attached to this picture is telling us our life is here one second and gone the next. So if we do not know when our time for judgment is to be, shouldn't we live every day of this temporal life growing closer to the Lord? And stop playing around in the world.

If you died right now do you KNOW 100% that you will go to heaven? If you have to hesitate or can not give a definite yes to that question then something needs to change. You have to make a choice, temporal happiness on earth or eternal happiness with the Lord.

Good Good Father

The Lord is so Good to us, even when we do not deserve it. Thank the Lord today for what He has done in your life and will do. Even when it seems like everything is going wrong, God has everything under control. He watches over everything, and always has a plan. God knows what we need when we need it before we even have to ask.

Here is Chris Tomlins song called "Good Good Father"

~Oh, and I've seen many searching for answers far and wide
But I know we're all searching
For answers only you provide
Cause you know just what we need
Before we say a word~

Thank You Lord!!!
