Ever feel like life just throws boulders in your path? Maybe you feel like everyone leaves. Or every time you feel you take a step forward, there seems to always be three steps back. Let me tell you I completely understand! But how will we react to each situation?
Sometimes life is unfair and we can't make out what our purpose is, but in these moments we need to trust God the most. This doesn't mean you have to always be happy but this means you can find peace in the Lord in the midst of the storm.
"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus"~Philippians 4:6-7
He will give you a peace that passeth all understanding, we just need to go to God with everything so that He can hold our burdens. We don't have to carry that weight because Jesus took it to the cross.
"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."~ Matthew 11:28-30
Jesus is our anchor. When the storm is raging, the wind is blowing, and the waves seem to be overpowering we have to hold on to Jesus. This is what will keep you through every situation. Jesus says you will have tribulation BUT be of good cheer because he has already overcome the world! Isn't that awesome! When life is throwing everything your way, you can find peace in knowing the Lord is with you and He has overcome every circumstance.
"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." ~John 16:33
Lord, I thank you for another day! I must admit, life is tough and sometimes I feel like I am all alone but Lord help me to remember you are here with me. Help me to give all my worries/burdens to you. I pray for anyone who doesn't know you Lord that you open their eyes. Have mercy on them that they can experience your Love and peace when there seems to be no way.
