Re-Focus

"Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do,
forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus"
~Philippians 3:13-14

Sometimes we just have to re-focus on what is really important in life. I know for me I can get caught up in the ups and downs of life and end up putting too much unnecessary stress on myself. Why do we do this to ourselves? God doesn't want us to try and take everything on for ourselves, He is there for us to lean on. Let's not get so caught up on what happening around us that we loose sight of what's important in life. Without the Lord anything we do here on earth is meaningless. We have to keep focused on our relationship with Jesus so that he can know the will of God for our life.

Lord use me. Guide me. Help me to re-focus on you, and not get distracted by everyday life. Give me eyes to see, ears to hear and a heart to follow. I want to grow closer to you every day.
